Why we love jump roping
AND WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT TOO
Most of you will remember the joy that you had as kids while jump roping with your friends, it was on the school yard or on play dates. After that we forgot about it. Meanwhile we dread the boring workout at the gym and think that running is the go to for calorie burning.
But did you know that jump-roping burns more calories then running. It is not for nothing that you see it as part of a boxing training. And let not forget we had always so much fun doing it as kids!
Jump roping is cheap, you only need to buy 1 or 2 good quality ropes and then you can do it anywhere you want, you only need a little bit of space: in the living-room, your garden, the park or sidewalk. No need for gym memberships. And when traveling, bring your jump rope along, it takes almost no space and lets you workout anywhere in the world.

We love the ropes and app from Crossrope. Their app is full of free exercises and challenges. If you are new to jump roping you can start with the 14 day beginner challenge. They even link to YouTube tutorials. After that we love the 30 day get lean challenge. These challenges don’t only let you jump but also include great body weight workouts that enhances your overall body strength. The jump rope workouts are short from 15 to 30 min. So easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
